Klein Tools 1500W Portable Power Station KTB1000 & 60W Portable Solar Panel 29250

Two years ago, Klein launched a portable power station with 300 continuous watts named the KTB5 and now theyve announced a new model the KTB100 with 1500 continuous watts of pure sine wave AC power. A new 60W portable solar panel 29250 has been launched by Klein. It can be purchased separately and used to charge and power devices such as the KTB1000.

The TB5 was roughly the same size as a lunchbox. However, the Klein KTB1000, while slightly larger than the TB5, is still small enough to be portable. And the 1500 continuous watts makes it convenient for all sorts of plug in tools and appliances and even some power tools. It is said to have pure sine wave so as to be used to provide clean power for sensitive devices and those with variable speed dials.

The Klein KTB1000 has several output options including four 120V three prong outlets, six USB ports (3 x 60W USB-C PD and 3 x USB-A) and a 12V car port. It’s great to see USB ports that provide fast charging power delivery for modern times. Klein says that there are two types of chargers available. The faster charger can be stored on the top storage area while the slower charger can go on the top. Together, the chargers can charge the internal battery up to 80% in as little as 2.5 hours. Theres an backlit LCD panel on the front to give you the info you need like remaining charge while you use the portable power station.

At the time of writing, the Klein KTB1000 was priced at approximately.

  • Pure-Sine Wave AC Power of 1500W
  • With included chargers, you can charge your device up to 80% in just 2.5 hours.
  • Safe indoor use with the built-in Lithium Ion battery pack
  • Charge and power up to 11 devices simultaneously using four 120V outlets, six USB ports (3 x 60W USB-C PD and 3 x USB-A) and a 12V car port
  • To charge KTB1000 simultaneously with power devices, you can use pass-through charging
  • Digital LCD screen displays real time performance metrics including time until empty
  • Heavy-duty construction and a washable dust filter make this design ready for jobsite use.
  • Extend runtime by pairing up to two Klein Tools Solar Panels (Cat. No. 29250 sold separately)

Klein’s 60W portable solar panel 29250 provides power and charging for up to six watts. Its connector matches one of the input connectors of the above mentioned KTB1000 power station and can be used to recharge it to extend its runtime while away from an outlet. To charge the KTB1000 powerstation even faster, you can chain two solar panels together.

  • To increase solar power and reduce charge times, you can chain up to 2 panels
