This is Milwaukee’s newest 6T Crimper offering. It features a slim grip and an enlarged trigger that are specifically designed to be used with Class 3 gloves.
Last year we crossed a major milestone with the launch of ourM18 FORCE LOGIC 15T CrimperandM18 FORCE LOGIC 10,000 psi Hydraulic Pump, which enabled crews to cut and crimp every size wire and cable from distribution through transmission all on the M18 platform, said Troy Marks, Senior Product Marketing Manager for Milwaukee Tool. This new 6T linear Crimper confirms that the M18 System is the only battery platform that can match its power and capabilities. The M18 FORCE LOGIC 6T Linear Utility Crimper is designed with numerous features to give users maximum control and versatility. Dual electronic release buttons allow both left- and right-handed users the ability to activate without having to change their hand positions. Eight interchangeable jaws enable users to tackle a variety of applications using one base tool. This includes crimping upto 4/0 line taps, cutting 750MCM Cu and 1000MCM All, 477 ACSR EHS Guy Wire and 3/20cm Rebar.
Featuring Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM), an adaptive pressure control system, the tool constantly measures force output delivering consistent speed that wont bog down on larger connectors. The green LED indicator light gives users an instant indication of pressure to verify that they have achieved the right pressure each time. The pre-crimp battery test automatically checks for enough battery charge to complete each crimp. It also ensures that the connector does not get stuck, which is a common problem with comparable units.
The M18 REDLITHIUM C2.0 Battery Pack powers the tool, delivering up to 280 crimps on 3/0 AL Splices. It is optimized for consistent performance at temperatures between -20C/-16C to 60C/60C. This gives you confidence that any job can still be done in any environment. Sealing electronics protect the tool’s internal components and keep dust, moisture, and dirt out. This ensures maximum protection from the elements.
The tool is also compatible with the digital platform,ONE KEY,** which allowsthe user to sync the tool wirelessly with their mobile device or desktop. To track and analyze the usage of the tool, users can upload their history and data. This allows them to make custom reports.
